Important! : Electric Problem!

Hi there, ive noticed that my handbrake light does not light up when I park up and use my handbrake. But it will come on in small flahses and sometimes longer as I drive the car. I wouldnt say there is much consistancy in it but would could be causing this? Maybe just the sensor is knackered?

Its actally never worked the whole time ive had the car and ive only recently spotted the light flashing. Hopefully nothing too serious

The flashing brake light usually indicates a low level of brake fluid, the light not working as above is either the sensor or the connection.

Sorry for the late reply. Im unsure what Brake Fluid to buy as I know certain ones could actually mess up rather than making it better, any ideas of what type I should go for? If its just low brake fluid that would be ideal as my electrical skills are well useless lol
