unplugged lambda west coast

   Hi this is my first post! have had running problems with my westie mainly spluttering flat spots at the bottom end, changed the plugs, i am replacing the front pipe as its blowing and sensor, so i thought i would disconnect the lambda plug and take it for a little drive well all i can say is its alot more responsive no flat spots and no eml either quite mistified really, any cons to doing this as a temp measure until i change the pipe and sensor? taa MATT

   You will use more fuel and it will run rich, but no hard will be done

   it will drink more petrol and that's about it. Wouldn't drive around like that though, must be noisy.

   i meant the plug, anyway just fitted a new front pipe and lambda, put it this way the difference is like night and day
