Vts engine vs Peugeot

    Cam belt went on my 2000 vts and screwed my engine,I've found a 1.6 16v Peugeot engine I've herd will slip right in.I just wanted to know if there will be any hurdles on the way and performance wise what the better engine is,I know they sound the same spec but I'm no expert,should I just wait until I find a vts engine,thanks for any info

    If its a 106 gti engine yeah straight in , though you may need to swap a couple of sensors.

    If its a later engine from a 206 or similar, there is a bit of work in it.
