Thought i would start another topic to see if i could pull in some fresh ideas as car is still fucked.
Symptom: I get the headgasket changed and i'm driving round in it for a couple of days. I turn the ignition off and remove key noticing the pas pump is buzzing. I then later realise the battery light is also on but very dimly. If i change the wiper settings the battery light gets brighter as the setting gets higher. I can also use all the accessory electrics like windows, heater etc.
What i've done so far:
Pulled every fuse and relay individually in glovebox and engine box. I can kill the electrics this way inclu pas pump but battery light still on.
Disconnect alternator and no change.
Removed ignition barrel and swapped with different one, no change.
Removed and also swapped pas pump relay, no change
Removed and swapped ignition relay, no change
Disconnected wiring to dash unit, no change.
Changed the battery, no change
Checked earths and all in good condition.
Is there anything left to try?
