Strut top mounts

   What comes with these? Is it literally the top hats for the struts to sit in or does the replacement bearing come with it? I'm doing my springs and want to replace them but what is more common to need replacing? The strut tops or the bearings? My motor has almost 120K on it so I reckon nows the time to do them. Also, any cheaper places to get them than ebay?

   Just done springs and dampers on mine with 57k and the bearings were very rough. With your kind of mileage best to do both while it's in bits.
   I paid £10+vat each for bearings from Citroen. Bit cheaper for non genuine on Ebay. Top mount rubbers are a similar price, or you can get a kit for about £27 which I guess will also include the 2 bell shaped cups that fit into the rubber but they were fine on mine. You can prise them out of the rubber mount with a screwdriver.

   Euro Car Parts (scumbags) are doing an SKF kit with two bearings and two top mounts just now for 32bucks.
