Windscreen wipers shaking

    Hi guys,

Hope you are enjoying your Saxo!

I have an inquiry about windscreen wipers of my Saxo. They were excellent until today afternoon. The used to wipe the windscreen smoothly, with no problem. However, they started shaking today afternoon. I mean the wiper blade and its beam shake when moving on the windscreen. I haven't used them in dry condition but they shook under a constant shower (wet windscreen). They look like rubbing the windscreen.

Any idea? Are they about to be replaced?

Most likely they need replacing, they tend to start rubbing and bouncing at the bottom of the blade when they get worn down

As above also try nipping up the wiper arm nuts(13mm)

mine do this on all my saxos when i change to flat blade wipers

i find wrapping a bit of black insulation tape around the hook of the wiper arm works, as it makes the blade and wiper arm a tighter fit together

    Same on mine.

Mine does the same with the aero type blades, might give the tape a try.

Good little tip that, must remember it.

Thank you all for sharing your ideas. Replacing is the best I experience. Because I saw the old ones leaving some lines of water on the windscreen, showing that the blades were worn.
