car hunting/idleing its nuts off :(

   hey peeps, right all of a sudden my car is humping its nuts off and annoys the shit out of me! i thought it was the ICV vaulve so changed that and it still doing it... anyone got any ideas??

   coil pack? you can test it using a multimeter, plugs?

   no lights are on the dash tho, hmm and its had new plugs and coil pack not long ago

   Christ thats quite bad. I'd still get it plugged in regardless of EML not being on. Any diagnostics machine worth its salt can do parameter checks etc to see if any component isnt working propperly. Might cost you a few bob but save you 'guess fixing' in the long run, fitting new parts hoping that it will cure it.
