Eibach sport line + bilstein group n

The above is my front suspension set up, but the fronts only dropped about 30mm, not 50.

I used to run these springs with b8s and got a full 50mm drop.

Are they sitting so high now due to the stiffness of the dampers?

    Cheers

How long have you had them on? They may drop more when everything's settled down but yes you could be right the dampers could well be too stiff for the springs.

The gas pressure of the dampers is probably resisting the weight of the car. Should handle very well, just with less dramatic looks.

It's dropped about 30mm so am not gonna complain, just been for a spin and its good, but I was more impressed with the same springs matched to b8s.

Not really sure where to go now to make it stiffer

Maybe some stiffer springs that are better suited to the dampers? I'm sure Kam will step in now to recommend a suitable setup, maybe custom Faulkners?

Aye, was tempted by the Faulkner 155's, but prefer progressive rate. Might try cutting a coil or 2 off the eibachs

Faulkners could well be a better match, either as 155 spec or even stiffer, I wouldn't recommend cutting coils off of any springs though.

Just buy new springs don't cut them. So your saying it handles better on b8s than group n? Best give billies a call and tell them they got it wrong

Yeah but then I started thinking.
The lad I bought the car off had the black lowered 60mm, so that's gotta be making a hell of a difference. Just need to find a set of m10 bolts and get the thing lifted up
