1.1 brakes problem

   When I'm driving the handbrake light started flickering and now it stays on permanently. Does this sound like a faulty handbrake switch? Or is it a warning my brakes need looking at? I know some cars the handbrake light comes on with low brake fluid etc... But with my car being so basic with no abs wasn't sure if it did this ?
   
   Brake fluid level is fine... So could it just be the switch ? Thanks

   Have you checked your front pads as well, just to rule out. If it isn't the pads then yes you're looking at a sticky switch.

   Possibly the switch could be loose mine used to do this at times, usually this is brake fluid but if that is all topped up then check the handbrake switch connection.
