Hi i purchased a vts a while ago on a 02 the car was badly over fueling after changing various sensors and coil pack and plugs no change! i was advised to buy an ecu. i purchased an unlocked one on ebay! my previous ecu had been locked by a local garage i removed the plug from the black imobilizer box fitted new unlocked ecu! two clicks of the key and the imobilzer light starts flashing! surely not another locked ecu! to my suprise the car fierd up and the overfueling had gone! after a few minuites a tapping noise started at the top of the engine and started to get louder! (plenty of oil on the car) i turned the car off and when trying to restart the car will not fire! the whole time the car was running the imobiliser light was flashing! can anyone help?
