Different imboliser problem

    Right... different problem now.
    may have exposed the copper coil on the ignition barrel. (as in the cover snapped off and the coil un-wound)
    Got the dash saying saying imobiliser problem.

    Am I going to need a new immobiliser/ ignition barrel, or will it be fine since i've unplugged the battery and locked the car.

    Right, i've answered my own problem here. ( after a bloody deep search) Seems like it's the receiver/aeriel for the key.
    I think, as long as I wind it back up ok, and stick the cover back on, I should... should be ok.
    But fuck me otherwise. I need to be somewhere in the evening.
