Important! : Indicators not working :( problem after problem!

    I hope someone can help. The other day my windscreen wipers just stopped. I was told it could be the relay. Mechanic told me to go to the scrap yard and ask them for a new one and they'll change it for me too. Scrap man didnt know what I was talking about so gave me a few cube fuses to try. Well cut a long story short I dont think its the relay that needs changing and apart from taking it to the garage and being a woman im worried there gonna tell me its something its not have come on here for some hope someone can tell me what the problem might be and how I can fixs it

    As said it could be the relay, but check the fuses to start with. If the fuses are ok I'd go with swapping your relays. They are located above your fuse box under the glove, indicator one is grey and wiper one is blue.

    If that doesn't solve it then it'll more than likely be the stalks on the steering column.

    Check the easy bits: the fuses and the relay to make sure they work.

    Then move onto the harder bits: checking the wiper motors and the wiper stalk.

    Then if none of that works check the grounds, wires etc to make sure the circuit is working properly!

    Well we all make spelling mistakes,& anyone with half an ounce of intellegence should be able to work out the meaning of the thread.

    Where are you? I have both complete engine bay and interior looms in my shed. Your welcome to come and chop any relays or connectors etc you want for a beer token.

    indicators instead of windscreen wipers is a HUGE spelling mistake!

    plus anyone with any sense would realise if the thread was titled what its actualy about someone who could help may look.

    Its my INDICATORS that arent working. Clearly states that in the title! Anyway relay was changed and that isnt the problem. Will try the indicator stalk and im based in Great Yarmouth

    Ok so i put windscreen wipers. Glad the majority knew what i was talking about!
