track rod end stuck to strut!

   Took bolt off been smashing it all afternoon with no affect what so ever. Any ideas?

   No, i wrote an explanation of how to get the nut off, by applying pressure downwards on the track rod near the end, then realised you already had the nut off so deleted it!

   hit the bit around the rod end ( not the trackrod end itself, what it sits in )
   
   Dont miss with the hammer, but the shock of it will make it come out easy as pie!
   Couple of real good hits WILL do it.
   
   As my colleagues say if its tight, dont just tap it, whack it!!

   ohh.. and dont miss! if you miss and hit the trackrod end you will fuck the threads up

   Been doing that HARD with no affect at all. Getting some new track rod ends and hack sawing through the old one as I ruined the tread by trying to smash it out. It's genuinely stuck solid
