Heating issue

   Hi my temp gauge goes to half way then just after the fan kicks in have these got a 2 stage fan if so then this is deff stage 2. But today the red light came on I tapped the box next to the fan and it kicked in again fast and loud??

   Sticking relay perhaps? and you tap it and it starts working again?
   
   You've got other problems if it needs full speed to keep it cool. maybe air lock or a sensor going bad?

   Cleaned relay. The fan kicks in just after half way but still as fast as it can go

   Drain refill & bleed the cooling system,if that doesn`t work try another fan motor.

   The fan is meant to kick in just after half way, that's normal.
   
   If the temp is still rising, it could be a jammed stat.
