Intermittent misfire

   Got an intermittent misfire with my car, basically when ever it does it if I boot it it'll clear it and it'll run fine until it does it again, could be in 5 minutes or could be the next day, but like I said if I boot it clears and is good as gold, fuel filter possibly?
   But, if it does it and leave it over night it'll be fine in the mornig until it does it again!
   
   Any help would be greatly appreciated

   I had a similar prob with my westie. Turned out to be a knackered coil pack

   not that though mate, because while it was doing it I swapped it for a known working one and was still the same, it wont happen if im im sat at high revs like on a motorway but if im driving about in the lower revs it'll do it!

   Lambda sensor possibly.

   Nope, did it with them plugged in and with them unplugged

   Not that either mate , I've had 3 map sensors on it

    Sounds more of a fuelling problem rather than electrical.
    Try the basics first, fuel filter, check if your tanks full of crap.. If you've left your tank to get near empty.. you'd have no doubt sucked all the shit up from the bottom.
    Then maybe look at injectors after that.
