mk1--mk2 vtr weight differences

    anyone know the diff as i had a little play with a mk1 with one other person in and i had two people in the car and he couldnt keep up. from what i could tell he had an open ind. kit and back box and the only thing i got it the open ind. kit. so im thinkin he cant drive or the mk1 is heavier?

    get a enclosed induction kit, my mates got a mk 1 and there aint much difference in a good old drag race

    i think they weigh the same, but the mk2 is a bit faster than mk1

    but im on a W reg with manifold in the same place as mk1, the crossover model and i thought mine was still 90bhp? maybe its one of those reall really rare 105bhp models!
