Seats problem

   Hey,
   
   Ford problem, but I thought you guys might know something on this.
   
   Basically the misses has an 04 Fiesta and the seat is broke, the clip to pull it back doesn't work any more ( common problem I hear ) and shes been told it's gonna be easily over 100 shiny ones to fix it.
   
   Her mate apparently just got both done and paid 270 for 2 of them to be fixed. Handle and cables were broke apparently... Did she get fleased ?
   
   Any input on this ? Cheers.

   Yes as a metal cable joiner can be used to reatach them together thats if your car is 3 door tilt or if your onabout the slide eg front of seat still yes as its a miss alinment. That can be sorted by shortening the cable that goes from 1 side to the there

   Sure you could source a good replacement for less than a repair.

   Yes it's a 3 door tilt forward and slide seat. The handle basically doesn't feel like it's attached to anything.
   
   I don't think she fancies payin 150 odd quid. Sounds kinda pricey to me. Ford are dicks if it's a common fault they should sort it out. I hear it happens on most of them.
