#3did you fibreglass and filler it chris?
-
#4does a rear diffuser look anygood if it is just fixed on after spraying?? cheers
-
#5pot riveted it, tiger sealed, then fibre, and fillered, but done the fibre glassing before I found out about the epoxy resining it firstQuote:Originally Posted by stevenet15did you fibreglass and filler it chris?
the lad who owns the car is not the best at reversing, so it had a phew knocks and never split, but has took some chunks out of spliter
I'm bizzy working on it at mo, shaving handles/locks, sorting boot out and resmoothing(perfect example of why you don't use filler to smooth big holes)
might stick some progress pics in the photo/vid section -
#6if it's done right then yes they look alright, but not as good as being smoothedQuote:Originally Posted by furiofanaticdoes a rear diffuser look anygood if it is just fixed on after spraying?? cheers

#7ok thanks how much do you think it would cost to be smoothed, does it depend on the diffuser??
-
#8it shouldn't like as they are only smoothing the top lip of spliter inn, it's more on labour charges, more hours the bigger the bill
prices vairy wildly from garrage to garrage/bodyshop for spraying, labour charges are normaly £50/£80 pph roughly -
#9Thanks for your help mate i shall check it out! (rep coming your way)
