Ok we'll to start off I'm a little unsure on where to go from here, I have a 2002 saxo vts... I love her... But a big problem occurred when I was driving at about 60mph and the timing by snapped!! I don't want to get rid of her just on the pure fact of all the memories, and being told its one of the best looking and fastest saxo in the area... I've had a lot of problems with her this year all totalling about £6000-7000 in cost... It's a big job to fix and not to sure because I can't keep spending this amount on a car hitch keeps breaking.... An alternative is getting another and swapping parts over, te only problem with this now is if this car will face a huge amount of problems also.... I have money most the time to keep fixing but I'm asking people now if you was in my position and had a car you loved would you carry on fixing even though costs are going to become really high, swap pars to another car or just find something completely different??? Thanks
Help me I'm stuck on what to do!

#2Strip it down yourself and have a crack at it. Once you replace the bent valves, seals and gasket etc etc you should have no problems with it.
Whip the head off, strip it down and build it back up. Should really cost you too much, you've got nothing to loose by having a crack yourself. -
#3So you've spent just under a grand a month fixing it?? What exactly have you had done??
To be honest I'd be questioning whether I would be keeping it or not after the first thousand! -
#4£6-7k

On what exactly..? -
#6If my saxo gave me a bill of £1k it would be in the scrappy, let alone £6-£7k.What exactly have you done to it?
