On way from work tonight and the car started making this knocking/rubbing noise. I have attached a video of the noise.
It makes the noise if the engine is running or not running
If the clutch is engaged or not.
If I brake it makes no difference to the noise
Steering side to side makes no difference to the noise.
It makes this noise at all speeds the only thing that changes is it does not make the noise if i accelerate it only when i let off the accelerator it appears.
Had 2 new driveshafts, clutch kit, ball joint, drop links all fitted couple of weeks ago and was no noise until today
any help on what it could be.
I have jacked the car up both side no evidence of anything rubbing and moving both driveshafts by hand can't get it to make the noise.
Check engine oil and gear box oil both ok
