C2 VTS Installation

I have bought a '53 C2 VTS engine , is there any reason as to why this wont fit in a VTR. I am in no rush to get the engine fitted , but have noticed a few differences to that of a standard VTS. The throttle body is a "fly by wire " as opposed to a cable. The engine has AC so a new poly v belt setup will have to be looked into and obviously the engine management system which I don't have. This is not a concern as I will go DTA I think on this engine. Any help would be appreciated

Search the forum dude for tu5jp4 conversion. It's been covered a lot and you'll find everything you need in the guides

    It's a relatively straightforward conversion.

This is something I have considered as well, better performance and higher mpg.

The engine is going into a rally car, so mpg is not a factor as to why I chose this engine, just performance.
The guides I have read concerning the swap are excellent. The reason for the posting was to see if the modifications were easy to do and it appears yes they are, which has put my mind at rest

if you are using the full JP4S engine all you need to do really is get an adapter for J4 throttle body from tweeqd automotive, J4 tb all J4 sensors loom ecu etc swap sump over change the cambelt setup with j4 pulleys over.

Can use the J4 fuel rail but you will need to make slight extension brackets on the mounting tabs and make up something for the fpr/fuel return
