Brake issue(now fixed)

Looking for some info and help with a brake issue that started tonight when I jumped in the motor.....

    There's none at all

The missus has been using the car the last few days so I'm gonna blame her, when she gets home a quick kick to the fud should sort her out

Anyway the brake pedal goes all the way to the floor, and the brakes are pish.

There is nothing at all really, maybe the last few mm the car slows up but only when you are going slow enough.....anything from higher speed is non existent and by that I mean 60mph.

Now when its switched off the the pedal goes firm when you press it a few times, but as soon as its started it goes all the way down to the floor.

Does this indicate an issue with the servo?

I checked the fluid level and tbh it is on the low side but I don't know where it was before,it may have been at this level for a long time but it at the moment indicates a possible leak somewhere.

It was dark so I haven't had the chance to look for any signs of leaks at the calipers etc so won't know fully.

    Any ideas?

Sounds like air in the line maybe but it could be the servo, blown seal in the master cylinder, brake lines corroded and weeping to the seals in your brake callipers and everything in between.

I'd bleed the system then just inspect everything for leaks.

There was a goosed brake pipe on the drivers side that was leaking through corrosion.

Got that replaced today and the brakes are back to normal.
