need some help

   Put this in another thread but think i put it in the wrong place so putting it here also
   
   we have a saxo vts and the engine seized so my partners brother put a 106 gti engine. But now nothing is right. There is a misfire coming back off the machine as misfire cylinder 1. the coil pack has been changed new spark plugs have been put in. Also brand new gear linkages have been put on but one keeps popping off and think the gearbox/ clutch needs realigning. We didnt put a unlocked ecu in as the car turned on. Any ideas?

   Did you change the engine over and use your original injectors/ fuel rail ?
   Could be a dodgy injector off the new engine. If you didn't use the original fuel rail.
