Drivebelt on a saxo.

   Hi all.
   
   Starting up 1st thing theres a squeal,which goes away however after a long run the noise comes & goes.Alternator was replaced 3yrs ago(new one)
   
   Any ideas?

   check the alt belt stevoooooooooooo
   
   is it slack or tight

   Moisture on the belt I'd say.

   Tight, slack or moist can still produce a squealing noise.
   
   
   due to the time of year, damp mornings can cause it to make a noise. perfectly normal.
