Make of ECU

   Maybe a bit random, but how do you tell what make of ecu you have? I'm looking at getting the car mapped and the mapper says they've seen good results off the bosch ones...
   
   The only thing I can see on the ecu is letters and numbers;
   
   S8a6l ff 07 mm48p 1326178
   
   Any help appreciated, cheers

   I think that's a Magnetti Marelli code.

   If its a 106 Gti or Saxo vts will be Magneti Marelli
