Hey guys.
Yesterday the spark plug on my 106 rallye s2 blew out the head.
Today I have had the hole helicoiled. Although since having it done it was running lumpy and spluttery as hell! So I thought it may need new spark plugs as the old one was blown out and could have damaged it? So I put a new set in, but whilst I was removing the old I noticed that the one that I had repaired the HT lead didn't feel like it was on properly, this could have caused the lumpy running? So I fitted the new, but the ht lead on the one I had repaired didn't feel like it sat on properly, really had to push it on hard, but even then it didn't pop on like normal.
I started the car anyway and was even worse running! Thought maybe I should disconnect the negitive terminal for half hour see if it would clear up. It did, but didn't feel like it pulled like normal.. and on cold starts is still lumpy. Just dont understand it.
Can anyone shed some light?
Cheers.
