bigger torsion bars

ok i now have 22mm rear bars, have taken wheels off measured gap from arch to centre top part of trailing arm at 355mm each side which is 45mm lower then standard IIRC is this going to be the case it is 45mm lower then standard as it looks alot higher with new wheels on.

ideally looking to go for the 35mm 40mm at the back then 15mm lower at front from jacking points, but is all having geomatry, corner weights etc done next monday.

    thanks

Guess work really. It won't be -45mm from standard when it's on the ground - you'll need to lower it more to compensate for the thicker bars.

I have 21mm bars and lowered the rear 50mm for a drop of ~35mm.

Will try, dampers need to be compressed to get on / off though so with the damper on will that be ok?

I can do mate, but it's going to take me some time - car has no front struts at present.

Is there not a standard measurement kicking about you could use to calculate the distance you need?

EDIT: This any help?. I guess 285mm would be a good starting point.

Where did you get ur bigger diameter bars from?
