no need mate, theres a special supercharger on ebay! its like an induction kit but gives you loads of power!

now go away u joker, all you have done is abuse people

lol, power to money ratio would be stupidly low, therefore there's no point. By the time you put 1500 into it for a turbo and everything that goes with it, you might of well of bought a new car. You wont have any real noticeable increase in power to justify your spending.

Save up for a VTR or get an engine conversion. I have a 1.1 as well so don't take it personally.

Yes its possible and it would probably cost more than your cars worth not to mention all the other parts you would need (brakes, suspension, exhaust etc).

I dont know what kind of power a turbo'd 1.1 would kick out but its going to be alot of work for very minimal gain.

i often wonder thet as Charade GTti is 993cc turbo running 105bhp standard and hits 0-60 in 7.9

    Troll.

The engine is only an 8 valve and pretty gruff top end. 90bhp from tuning it on a standard cam? Maybe as much as 150brake if the job was done well. Pointless though

Sounds er, great. Lots of lift off oversteer with them. I had a mate who bought one from a dealer an hour after rolling his punto sporting. Fun little car. Sounds a bit like a 911

y would you want to turbo a 1.1 my radio control car can go faster than it will go

how can you say that, not everyone can afford a VTR/VTS you snobby git, i bet mummy and daddy bought you your saxo anyway!

jezprick - thats a bit of a daft thing to say mate, the money it will cost u to turbo a 1.1 is the same roughly to turbo a vtr, same type setups an shit, so for the price that u spend to make fuck all power turbo'ing a 1.1 u could sell ure 1.1 buy a cammed vts and be laughing, theres no point to it really, unless u want to say "ive got a turbo 1.1" vtr/s conversion in your 1.1 and turbo that would be a better project
