#2It'll fit.
But only if it's an 8v mk1 not a vts.
However I believe it'll hit the oil filter if you have the paper filter. -
#3Will this give me a little more power gains? And i dont understand the paper filter? As in the blue oil filter that screws on?
-
#4Yes mk1 saxo/106 have a blue spin on metal filter.
Where as a mk2 is a paper element that you fit into a black housing.
The mk1 down pipe may hit this as it's designed to go
Around the metal filter.
And no I don't think it will give any more power gains. As your still using standard cast piping. -
#5if you have the oil filter thats in a black plastic casing next to the block then the manifold will touch it. You need to convert to the older metal cannister style filter for it to clear, but no it wont give you any power gains on a 1.1 at all its a total waste of time especially with the cost cutting restrictions of a standard manifold
-
#6Okay i have checked i do have the mk2 black plastic filter thing, so is it a no go from here?
-
#7Can I just ask why are you even bothering ?
Get a proper manifold I.e supersprint
And correct system. If the cat really bothers you that much.
But it does mean that it'll make it a pain to go through emissions come mot time. -
#8its not a "no go" per se as its possible but its an epic waste of time and money.
-
#9Remember that also yo will need to refit it for the MOT or fit an under floor one!

#10Fitted up today, but the lambda sensor was touching the black plastic filter, and like a idiot i thought nothing of it till i seen smoke so its melted a hole lol, so how do i convert to old metal filter ? Or any other way around this? I bent the lambda sensor as muvh as possible without breaking it, thanks

#11You need a threaded adapter for the block, and a new filter obviously.
I have a brand new genuine PSA adapter spare if you want it for £15 posted. These are no longer available new from Citroen so I got a few when you last could lol
