crunch/clunking noise

   This fault could in fact be down to the gearbox as its in a bad way and is getting changed but just in case it isnt:
   
   When applying the break from say like 20 to 0 or coming to a stop as the wheels turn their is a clunking noise from both wheels. When listing off the break pedal it goes away. And sometimes it sounds like it clunks once or twice from the back but this could be vibration through the chassis. Its only came on since the gearbox got dramatically worse. What could it be?

   I got that noise and once i changed driveshafts it stopped ,
   you might find that it will go once youve changed the box
