Saxo 1.6 VTR - Rear axle fitting

    Hi all, newbie here!

    Any idea how hard it is to fit a rear axle to a X reg 1.6 Saxo VTR? Been offered one with a rusty rear axle, but the seller currently has a new one waiting to be fitted, I'm considering doing it myself.

    Is it something I should attempt myself? I haven't done anything like this before (removed driveshafts etc, but never anything with axles)

    How much would a garage charge to fit it do you think?

    4 bolts to undo,rear shocks unbolt.The only potential fiddly things are the brake lines.
