Heater blowing hot, then cold, then hot ect...?

   Hi there,
   
   I have a 1995 Peugeot 106, the heater (when on the hottest setting, blowing out the front dashboard vents) blows hot, then cooler, then cold, then hot again and repeats etc... The coolant temperature according to the dash is in the middle (maybe very slightly higher than the middle) and gets there pretty quickly when I start driving.. So I presume it's not the thermostat? The water pump has been changed in the last few years..
   
   Any ideas what the problem could be?

   You might want to re-bleed the system, could be an air lock.

   Does it go cold when your on idle ?
   If so iirc it's a slight air lock behind water pump.

   Can be air stuck, the heater radiator stuck or the thermostat.
