clutch / gearbox ??

   Ive bought a y-reg saxo 1.1 for my lads first car and last night when when disengaging clutch the loudest bangs started coming from the engine and the car wont move. Any ideas please

   update : i had a new drive shaft fitted 2 weeks ago, could this be related?

   Yes, but it depends on the noise type. It does not move at all? Can be also the gear link
