My g/f's 1.1 failed today on emissions, failing a small leak in the exhaust what should be next on my list to get it through.

Try changing the lambda sensor?

I thought a bad lambda would also be linked to poor CO readings?

It's simple, change the lambda sensor and it'll pass the emissions, give it a good thrashing to warm the cat up before you go in!

Patched some small holes in the exhaust and it passed

Was going to say. Have the holes welded up or new exhaust.
