saxo wont idle

   hey guys, just got a saxo 1.1 2000 model, (carb) when i got the car it idled okay, half an hour jerney home, pulled up, car was still idling okay, when i went back to the car to move it, it struggled to start, i had to rev it to get it to start, once i had it started i kept it at 3000rpm for about 30 seconds then it idled fine again, left it a while longer and went back and started it, it keeps cutting out, can somebody help me as to why my car wont idle properly? many thanks, dexter

   Probably a dirty idle control valve. There are a few videos on youtube. But if you get a can of Carb Cleaner give it a clean. Here is pic of what you are looking for
