just got round to trying to rebuild my new beam, new bearings in the arms etc etc, came to putting my new 21mm (brought about 2 years ago) torsion bars in, and one is 2mm longer than the originals and the other is a good 4-5mm longer.
can any old machine shop cut these down to length, or do they have to be done a specific way? also i'm guessing that being a bit short wouldn't be any good either, they would have to be exactly spot on?
