Can I use performance pistons and rods for the jp in the jp4 and I have two jp4 motors I know one is a c2 vts as it has the alloy inlet the other is a bare engine I have noticed that the c2 motor has a blue dip stick handle the other has a black dip stick handle are these different motors?

I may need to be corrected but the valve cutouts will probably not be big enough for the JP4 valves. I'm not convinced you will see any performance gain over the Saxo head.

I thought this as the c2 inlet valves are 1mm bigger,i am looking at turbo charging a motor,i have a 80tho strong cammed vts motor and two low mileage c2 vts motors, the pistons I have are standard size saxo vts low comp forged I would like to ues the full jp4s motor as they have less miles on them than the jp.or the c2 head and inlet on the jp bottom end

if you have the pistons already get the pockets machined larger.
