question for people who know there engines and looms

   Right ive got a x reg phase 2 crossover vtr and have been offerd a cheap vts lump but its from a w reg which is single plug engine would this be a straight swap?

   If your VTR is a 3 plug, which I'm guessing it is. Then no, you will need to cut off the main harness plugs and solder together the corresponding wires. Not too difficult if you have the wiring diagrams for each.
