106 gti knocking, sounds like a van?

   Hey everyone, I've just done a head gasket change on my gti, it started first time but it idles a little rough, however my main concern is the loud tapping/knocking noise from the engine, I've read it could be loose spark plugs so I've tightened them up a little more, does anyone have any ideas that could help me?

   Haven't watched the vid but Is oil getting to the top end? Of the head gasket is on upside down this can cause a lack of oil in the head and hence the tapping

   I am fairly sure the head gasket is on the right way, I resealed the inlet cover as it looked like it was leaking a little and there was oil up in with the cam, and I can see it in the exhaust cam when I take off the cap when the engine is running
