Oil level display

    How accurate is this?

    For a while it was reading say half or 3/4's,and when I would check the oil level it would be roughly there or there abouts......

    But this last week its telling me its low,just showing up as 1 bar,or circle or whatever the feck you want to call it,and when i actually check the level its roughly half or slightly above.

    Is it a case of ignore the bloody thing and check level as normal?

    It's utterly useless. Ignore tbh. If you park on even a 1 degree slope it freaks out and accuses you of never servicing the car...

    Haha.....

    I had noticed how unreliable it had been with parking on slopes,but of late it had been on level ground....

    The one in my 206 flashes at you ("help!! Empty!! Emergency!!") then when you check it's usually 3/4 or so. Peugeot / Citroen are pants sometimes lol
