2002 saxo vtr cam belt?

   Is there a way of telling if the belt wants replacing or if its new because I don't want to put a new one on if this ones new lol because garage want £200+ it's done nearly 80k cheers

   If you don`t know when the belt was changed,then assume it needs changing.Its better to be safe than sorry mate.

   £200 are they smoking crack. I paid a garage £80, included belt, tensioner and pump. Shop around a bit mate. Where in the country are you?

   I thought it was expensive mate I'm going to shop around £80 sounds a better price lol I'm in West Yorkshire castleford/pontefract area. I'm going to get it done like Stevo said its better safe than sorry

   Just be careful with £80 that they change the tensioner as well,because some garages don`t.
