Hi all aint been on for a while, ive been using the car for work last couple of weeks and as before shes overheating, im stopping twice on a 7 mile drive. And ive noticed that its that hot that the fan is in so much that the battery is taking a hiding. So..... from next week on im ordering everything I need to complete a head gasket change, and I will be renewing the heater matrix also (as I only flushed it before) all this comes to around £200, now I know some of you would say get it done at a garage, but this is the whole point in my buying a haynes manual. Also I can learn from this and I get to purches new tools, also the satisfaction on completion would be very nice. I dont find its a hard job to do, also ive been going through it in my mind for about 6 weeks, and now is the time for me to do it, will let you all know how I get on and the cars results as im also doing a full service and replacing from the cat back with a brand new exhaust.
