1.6 SX Auto. Gear shift Light not working

   We recently had a P reg SX Auto 1.6 given by my Father in law as our Focus gave up the ghost. It's a great little runner, but the light indicator on the gearshift has gone out, causing me to sometimes click on the car interior light in the dark.
   Is this straight forward to fix ?
   
   BTW, Someone told me these 1.6 auto's are quite rare. Is this right ?

   Gently lever up the plastic panel at the base of the selector stick & you`ll find a bulb,which has probs blown.You are right they are rare I have 1 too.

   Any pics of it? Never seen or known about 1.6 autos!

   Its just a flat arch sx saxo with a mk1 90bhp vtr engine in it.They were only made for about a year in the 1.6 version.

   Thanks for the info guys. I levered off the cover & took out the tiny bulb, but like a numpty, I dropped it under the seat runner & when I retrieved it, it was in bits
   
   I wondered if anyone new the type of bulb I need.

   Iirc its the same type as the cigar lighter bulb.
