Afternoon All
Had a Satchell Engineering Lower Strutbrace fitted the other day and it seems catching on where the exhaust meets the manifold.
We had to cut part of the manifold off just to get the thing on in the first place (just cut the bit of metal around the join) but as the gap is so small it seems to bang every time I brake turn or accelerate!
Obviously after spending £120 on the brace I don't want to just get rid of it so I was just wondering if I can put something between the two so I no longer have metal banging on metal. I was thinking of using heat wrap (the stuff people use to wrap manifolds) as that could withstand the high temperature and would soften the impact between the two, but if any one has any better ideas please let me know!
Thanks
