ok posted up a thread a while back, where basically car is fine and dandy till its a lil cold when driving round every now and again as you accelerates it hesitates for a second then carries on, and prob wont happen again for a while.

now in last year map sensor, icv, coilpack twice has all been replaced. also serviced regular so all plugs are replaced regular althou they are due a change in feb/march time.

im thinking injector rail maybe blocked but it don't happen that often so cant think of what would cause it so randomly

    any ideas?

If you have access to a fault code scanner that maybe worth a shout.

I have nowt comes up. but then again its that rare at times I wouldn't know were to start to look or take it to a garage cos my luck is it wont happen to them

Long shot but is the alternator putting out the correct voltage?

As far as I'm aware alts fine as it was tested when my battery was dying so guessing that's all good.

Only way I can describe it is its starved of something for a very brief second then returns to normal

Not a dodgey connection on the fuel pump and every now and again it just loses it for a second? You taken off and had a look at the throttle body and inlet manifold, make sure all of that is clear?

ive had throttle apart and still clean from replacing idle and map, would there be any other signs of the fuel pump? as car don't cut out just drops revs but rev counter don't drop as if ive put my foot on brake that sort of feeling.

    Fuel filter blocked?
  10. #10
again these are all changed regular, but would it be that random if it was blocked? I drove car to work 5 days outta 7 roughly and could happen twice or not at all and only lasts for say max 5 secs then all normal again

I have just had a similar problem mine was the top lambda sensor
  12. #12
Unplug the sensor and you will see the difference if it is that pal
  13. #13
I agree it could be the lambda
  14. #14
Just read all of this thread my car was doing exactly tell same as yours is doing
  15. #15
so if unplugged it should run fine?
  16. #16
Yes that is what mine did, I did get more pops and bangs when changing sounded awesome but yes did fix the problem until I got a new sensor
  17. #17
so top lambda take out and leave out till I get a new one, I haven't the blanking part so will it be ok left open or?
  18. #18
    coolant temp sensor possibly?
  19. #19
No don't take it out just unplug the green plug near your battery leave your sensor in pal till you get a new 1 if that is the problem
  20. #20
so in theory unplugging it would then make that problem disappear, what actually breaks them cos I have a idea that it was replaced 2 years ago
  21. #21
Yes unplugging it solved my problem ( the same problem you have ) and I have no idea mine did go over time it's so annoying when u put your foot down and every now and again it would stutted, bog down what ever you want to call It I unplugged it and it was back to normal it took weeks to find out it was that

Nice will try it tommorrow as going work boxing day so will be able to tell then
