Lambda sensor

    wheres best place and best price for green lambda sensor? tried euro car parts was 40 odd quid? any better deals out there?
    thought my old lambda was a ngk one but cant remember or find that one again help please and post links if poss

    £40 is good for a decent quality lambda sensor.

    the £40 one is on offer and is a generic brand so no idea if any good, unless it don't matter on brands

    Don't forget you can't just solder a generic one on to the plugs

    Go for a Bosch 1 mate,generic brands can cause problems.

    by generic I mean one I haven't heard of like ngk n stuff, and steve would like that brand but really cant afford the £80 right now

    what size spanner undoes the sensor as if I remember it was an imperial spanner?

    a 22mm spanner will do the trick.
    If its too tight, dont force it and round it off. Go for a quick blast and get the mani red hot. Will make it easier to remove.

    If its a total PITA, use a lambda sensor socket. Then you wont risk rounding the edges off.
