Well after getting my new VTR 3 mayb 4 weeks ago loved it now its just opened up hole load of problems.

Rust holes found on top sturt under the bonnent.

needs full exhaust i have ordered full standard VTR exhaust.

left pass wheeel rubbing against the the arch think its a wishbone.? any ways ordered 2 new wishbones , track rod ends , drop links. hopefully sorts it out.

Then doing over small bump it bangs like anything!. from the suspension i think i got told it could be wishbones. etc so another reason ive ordered new ones now bein told it could be the struts.

brake lights. then sunroof playing up leaking everywere spreading badly even got water coming from were the pedals are!.

just becomeing to much and after loseing my job its awhh buggin me main reason being is because traffic branch stopped me said ive 14 days to get it sorted and bring it down to them.

really dont know what to do love this car.

Just stick with it pal any car you buy could potentially have a few teething problems, obviously I don't know how severe your problems are but I know I'd feel good about fixing my little Saxo up, its not like parts for them are extremely expensive, it'll be worth it come summer time

Best cure for the sun roof is remove it then check for rust in the corners , I found some , rubbed it down , fibre glass then hammerite , clean out the drain hose that run down the a pillars , bath sealant around the sunroof edge to roof , job done mate

No probs mate , just pick a good day and if possible get someone to help you when letting down the roof trim so you do not knacker the card , with the wheels rubbing the offset is wrong , try spacers , I had this problem on my old s1 vtr , I got bored in the end with scraping etc and put on the VTS alloys instead , looked better too
