What could I use to test electrical equipment?

    I want to practice soldering led bulbs in a speedo but I don't want to keep taking the speedo out of my sax and plug the project in because its a ball ache to be honest. What could I use to test the lights without plugging into my sax? Thanks.

    well i looked on ebay and no battery pack has them two yellow and black connectors...

    Could use a continuity meter? Most multi meters have this function too

    Buy a 12v circuit tester.
    Sealed do them. Or power probe as they are known.
