Important! : Brake Lights

    Okay top brake light is going fine but my 2 bottom ones have gone 2nd time getting stopped by the police so time to sort it lol.

    could be a fuse but my saxo never came with the books to tell me what fuse is what so i dont know what fuse to check / replace.

    im driving a 2002 saxo Vtr.

    Does it not say on the back of the fuse flap

    Think its fuse no.7 mate

    It'll be the bulbs/ circuit boards

    If the high level one is working then the fuse is fine.

    I have the exact same problem.

    Problem is fuse 7 feeds all three brake lights so if the third light is working then it must be ok.

    It also means IMO that the brake switch is good,but someone told me yesterday that they had this very problem and it turned out to be the switch,even though the switch supplies all three lights when used.

    Earths must be good as your other lights work on the cluster(I presume)

    I still haven't checked my fuse as i haven't had the chance but after studying the wiring diagram this is what I've came up with.

    Have you checked the bulbs?mine are good.
