Right, what sort of wizardry is involved in removing these blighters?
No problem in the VTS, and I'm not entirely incompetent, I've removed the engine, box, loom, beam and fuel tank myself, however I appear to be being mocked by the dial setup.
I imagine it's because this 106 I'm attempting to remove the dials from has a cable drive speedo, but basically I can't prise the clocks back out of the dash far enough to get any access behind them to undo anything? I can't see any way in from underneath, am I missing something? Is there a magic "cable release" trick?
I'm putting enough pressure on it to make the plastic of the dials creak, if I have to smash them so be it but I'd really rather not. I've done a search but I can only find dial guides for digital cars.
